Such is the scale of claims that continue to be made against Northern Rock, the division that manages such claims has this week announced that it has had to set aside a further £33m to compensation current and future claims.
Whilst this figure is comparatively small compared to the main high street banks, it is still a significant sum and yet another indication that the PPI scandal has plenty of fuel left in the tank.
